INCREASED uric acid levels in urine may be due to cancers that have spread (metastasized), disorders that affect the bone marrow or certain white blood cells, high-purine diet, gout, Rhabdomyolysis, Lesch-Nyhan syndrome, Fanconi syndrome, and Wilsons disease.
